Recognised Master's Degree in law, social sciences, sociology / anthropology development studies or similar
Formation
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in development cooperation with focus on justice and security sector reform and civil society support
- Experience with reviewing, and appraising development assistance programmes, preferably with Danida experience
- Experience with programmes supporting sector reforms to secure human rights and access to justice
- Knowledge about programmes supporting civil society development and strengthening of civil society organisations at all levels, including substantial knowledge about various types of funding and support mechanisms and instruments for civil society support
- Experience with programmes aiming at strengthening the security sector and the promotion respect for human rights in the security sector, including in fragile situations and situations with significant and recurrent threats of violence and terrorism
- Experience with monitoring, performance measurement and evaluation of this type programmes
- Knowledge in integrating gender and youth aspects
- Familiar with Danish policies and strategies for development cooperation and experience in applying Danida Aid Management Guidelines in practice
- Experience from West Africa, preferably Burkina Faso
