- “Building Regional Resilience through Strengthened Meteorological, Hydrological and Climate Services in the Indian Ocean Commission (IOC) member countries”
The objective is to support the Indian Ocean Commission in the preparation of the Regional Hydromet Project and elaborate the Funding Proposal for its submission to the GCF after conducting all necessary studies, including those for the Mauritius’ RAFE project. - Formation
- -Disaster Risk Reduction / EWS PhD or Master’s Degree
- Expérience
- - Senior profile with a minimum of 10 years of experience in disaster risk reduction, crisis management and early warning system assessment, design and implementation
- experience in tropical countries and similar context to IOC Countries context, experience in IOC country is an advantage,
- Shall have been involved in disaster risk reduction strategies in SIDS,
- Shall have been involved in crisis management analysis related to natural hazards, specifically cyclones, storm, droughts, flooding etc. - Contact
