Project
“Building Regional Resilience through Strengthened Meteorological, Hydrological and Climate Services in the Indian Ocean Commission (IOC) member countries”
The objective is to support the Indian Ocean Commission in the preparation of the Regional Hydromet Project and elaborate the Funding Proposal for its submission to the GCF after conducting all necessary studies, including those for the Mauritius’ RAFE project.
Education required
-Environment / Climate Change / Gender or other related field Master’s Degree
Experience required
- Senior profile with a minimum of 10 years of working experience including a minimum 10 years’ experience in environmental, social and gender impact assessment
- Shall have experience in IOC countries, Comoros, Mauritius, Madagascar and Seychelles environment laws and gender issues,
- Shall have been involved in similar projects,
- Shall have previous experience in IFIs financed projects;
- Previous experience in Green Climate Fund project construction is an advantage
