The water supply specialist must have a higher education in the field of water supply and sewerage or in the field of water treatment and at least 5 years of experience in the implementation of water treatment projects or water supply in general. Experience in projects financed by ADB is an additional asset.
Main functions and responsibilities. He / She will work in close cooperation with the international specialist for water treatment and the deputy project manager - a water supply engineer and will perform the following tasks:
(i) Preparation of technical specifications and bidding documents for the procurement of a contractor for construction of new WTP "Kadyrya";
(ii) Participation in the preparation of drawings to be included in the bidding documents,
(iii) Preparation of specifications of equipment and materials for maintenance and repairs, which will be included in the Bill of Quantities;
(iv) Provision of technical advice during the evaluation of bids for the construction of the WTP "Kadyrya"
(v) Together with the specialists of technical supervision, the control of the construction of the WTP Kadyrya, WDC, water pipelines and water supply networks;
(vi) Providing assistance to the design organization and consideration of the prepared design documentation for the WTP Kadyrya and WDC in order to meet the quality of drinking water with national standards;
(vii) Participation in training in the workplace of future WTP operators, review of training programs prepared by the Contractor, supervision of the implementation of training programs;
(viii) Participation in the supervision of commissioning; Review of operating and maintenance manuals and commissioning and start-up inspection reports;
(ix) Carry out inspections during the warranty period and provide results to the deputy project manager;
(x) Providing the necessary materials for quarterly, annual reports and completion reports.
