BOSNIA - Business Development Manager m/f

Our client offers innovative consulting and engineering solutions in the water, environment, transport and civil infrastructure sectors. World leader in the design and management of projects for public and private clients, we provide technical assistance, management assistance and capacity building in more than 100 countries worldwide.

With more than 100 employees in the Western Balkans, its Consulting and Engineering branch has supported the reconstruction of cities in BiH since 1998, through several hundred missions in the water, sanitation, transport and other infrastructure sector, including border crossings, bridges, railways and prestigious public buildings (Parliament, Courts of Justice, Town Hall, etc.). Most of our missions are carried out in collaboration with international financing institutions (European Union, European Investment Bank, World Bank, EBRD, etc.).
To increase our portfolio of activities, we are currently seeking for an ambitious and dynamic:

Business Development Manager
to join our subsidiary in BiH (Sarajevo)

Under the direct responsibility of the Executive Director for Western Balkans, your duties will include, inter alia:
- Develop a growth strategy and conduct researches to identify new projects
- Arrange business meetings with prospective clients and promote the company's services
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing clients
- Drafting of prequalification files and the responses to public tenders financed by International Financial Institutions or Donors. You ensure the compliance with the requirements of the specifications, both technically and financially
- Ensure liaison with the International Commercial Director in Headquarters and other regional units
- Setting up commercial partnerships
- Identifying and selecting international and local experts for proposals
- Ensuring quality control of all proposals submitted
- Master's Degree with an experience of minimum 5 years, preferably with business development function in engineering or consulting sectors
- Experience with International funded tenders/projects will be considered an asset
- Excellent command of Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian & English (spoken and written communication)
- Good command of MS Word and MS Excel is essential
- High-level communication skills
- Proven ability to negotiate
- Ability to self-motivate and motivate a team
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines
