Urban and Regional Cooperation (IURC): EU- Asia & Australasia
Team leader/ Coordinator - based in EU
University degree at master's level (or equivalent) in a discipline relevant to the scope of the assignment (e.g. social sciences, political science, international studies, economics, communication, geography, urban planning/development, architecture, engineering etc.). In the absence of a Master's degree, equivalent relevant professional experience of at least three (3) years in addition to the required at least ten (10) years of general professional experience.
Minimum ten (10) years, proven post-graduate professional experience in fields related to urban and regional development, and/or city-to-city/region-to-region cooperation, and/or urban or regional policy
Minimum three (3) years, proven post-graduate experience in leading teams and managing teams in the field of sustainable urban and regional development, and/or urban city-to-city/region-to-region cooperation, and/or similar urban/regional scope of the project. The project duration must be at least 3 years and multi-country.
• Having proven experience in leading teams or as Team Leader in at least 2 projects related to international cooperation
• Having undertaken at least two (2) assignments in at least two (2) projects related to cooperation between sub-national entities14 in the past 5 years.
• Experience in EU policy and action in cooperation between sub-national entities.
• Minimum 3 years working on urban and regional development with Asia and/or Australasia.
• Experience in EU external cooperation procedures is considered an asset
• Experience in working on urban and regional innovation is considered an asset
