Urban and Regional Knowledge and Network Expert
Formation
University degree at master's level (or equivalent) in a discipline relevant to the scope of the assignment (e.g. social sciences, political science, international studies, economics, communication, geography, urban planning/development, architecture, engineering etc.).
In the absence of a Master's degree, equivalent relevant professional experience of at least three (3) years in addition to the required ten (10) years of general professional experience
High proficiency of written and spoken English (C1).
Fluency in another EU language will be considered as an asset.
Expérience
Minimum ten (10) years, proven post-graduate professional experience in fields related to the assignment, such as coordination and/or management of the knowledge and network platforms for cities and/or regions, and/or multi-stakeholder cooperation on urban and/or regional initiatives.
Minimum five (5) years, proven post-graduate professional experience in fields related to sustainable urban and regional development and/or urban and regional policy making in the EU.
Having undertaken at least one (1) assignment in at least 1 project of at least 2 years related to cooperation between sub-national entities
Having undertaken at least one (1) assignment in at least 1 project of at least 2 years related to knowledge and network consolidation and dissemination, including the development and use of digital and communication platforms.
Proven experience in working with various stakeholders (e.g. other government entities, urban experts, the research community, private sector and financial institutions) in the fields of sustainable urbanisation and/or regional cooperation.
