- TA in support of CDR for identification and implementation of EIB financed wastewater projects
The overall objective of this Assignment is to support the wastewater sector and improve wastewater services through projects that increase household connections and wastewater treatment - Education required
- Master’s Degree in engineering
- Experience required
- General professional experience
- At least 15 years of professional experience in the identification, preparation and implementation of wastewater projects of which at least 10 years’ experience in project management, management and/or implementation of investment projects and TAs in the water or wastewater sector in the Mashreq region (Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, Syria, Iraq)
Specific professional experience
-Demonstrated track record in cooperating with EIB or other IFIs, promotional banks or international organisations (worked on at least 3 projects with IFI funding in the past 5 years)
-Experience in the preparation of Terms of References for different kinds of consultancy activities such as detailed design studies and / or tender documents based on FDIC or IFI standards (at least 8 assignments in the past 10 years)
-Experience in preparing or implementing stakeholder engagement plans (at least 3 in the past 10 years)
Language and other skills
-Proficiency in speaking, reading and writing in English, French and Arabic
-Knowledge of local institutional, political and economic context demonstrated by prior experience working on public infrastructure projects in Lebanon
-Strong communication and stakeholder management skills demonstrated through successful track record in working on several multi-stakeholder projects in multi-stakeholder environments in emerging countries. - Contact
