Wastewater Collection proejct-Economist / Financial Analyst

Feasibility Study for North East Ramallah Villages Wastewater Collection and Treatment System

Education required
S/he shall have a Master’s Degree in economics, public finance, or Business
administration or related field, or academic equivalent.
Experience required
General professional experience:
-S/he shall have at least 10 years of experience in working as an economist in investment
projects of which preferably 3 years spent on international projects (Outside usual country
of professional practice);

Specific professional experience:
-S/he shall have experience in working as financial analysist / economist in the implementation of preferably not less than 5 water and/or wastewater infrastructure
projects and/or studies.
-S/he shall have experience in preferably not less than 5 projects with project-based financial modelling, financial due diligence and/or Cost Benefit Analysis.
-S/he shall preferably have worked on not less than 3 Feasibility Studies determining NPV, FIRR, EIRR of investment costs and setting tariffs in the water / wastewater sector.
-S/he shall preferably have worked on not less than 1 Feasibility Study for future funding by an International Finance Institution (IFI).
-Experience in working with Government officials or another public administration advisory role in his/her capacity as economist is an asset.
-Professional Experience in the country and in the region13 would be an asset.
