Project
The overall objective of the project is to promote a more sustainable energy mix in the Central Asia region in line with EU best practices.

The permanent location of the Project Office is Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan. The activities of the project will be implemented in the Central Asian Countries, in the EU and the pre-accession or neighbouring countries, as required.

Experience required
Qualifications and skills
At least Master Degree academic level in finance or economics, or in the absence of such Master Degree ¡V an academic degree in relevant field with more than 15 years of professional experience in the financial sector;
Ability to draft clear and concise reports;Excellent social, communication and presentation skills including online presentation skills;
Fluency in oral and written English (at least C1 level) is essential;
Fluency in oral and written Russian (at least B2 level) is a strong asset.

General professional experienceAt least 12 years of working experience in the finance and capital markets sector;
Working experience in emerging/developing economies;
At least 3 years of international working experience on sustainable energy assignments;
Working experience with EU sustainable energy and environmental legislation.

Specific professional experience
At least 5 years of experience in investment facilitation in sustainable energy projects;
Previous working experience with Emission Trading Scheme carbon market instruments;
At least 1 year of working experience in development co-operation matters;
Previous experience in the EU-funded Technical Assistance project is an asset;
Experience in delivery of seminars and/or trainings in a multicultural environment.
