Serbia - Financial Controller Manager - M/F

Our client is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance and Administration Manager to oversee financial activities in the Eastern Europe zone, including entities in Serbia, Bosnia, Macedonia, Republika Srpska, Turkey, and contribute to its development in Uzbekistan and other countries.
Education required
You have a Master's degree in Finance. You have 5 years international experience, particularly in financial control of long-term international projects.

You have preferably worked in the environment, engineering, construction, public works or industry sectors with a project dimension. You want to continue working in an international environment for several years.

You are fluent in French and English and knowledge on Serbian is much appreciated.
You possess an excellent command of MS Excel.
You demonstrate autonomy, initiative, rigor as well as a good team spirit and ability to interact with an international team.
Experience required
As part of the Eastern Europe management team under the direction of the Regional Director and the International Finance Director, the expected contribution includes process improvement, entity structuring, and overall entity performance.

As a member of regional management, you will play an active role in the day-to-day activities of engineering projects. You will participate in cost assessments and tender committees, including the identification of risks

You will be responsible for the financial monitoring of the zone and all its permanent establishments:
" Monthly reporting and KPIs. (3 subsidiaries + 3 branches)
" Quarterly closings oversight (provisions, WIP, analysis, and landing).
" Supervision of project financial monitoring (initial budgets vs offer budget, margin at completion, risks, and opportunities).
" Monitoring of current permanent establishments (financial statements analysis, result, etc) + taking charge of consolidation or creation of new perimeters.
" Delivering financial and operational analyses (performance KPIs, etc.).
" Internal control and consolidation of administrative and financial processes (purchasing circuit, banking power, operational processes, etc.).
" Legal secretariat for the entities concerned, if necessary with a HQ Legal relationship (general meetings, minutes, etc.).
" Supervision of the zone's finance teams and external accounting firms.
" Follow-up on any tax audits in the region.
" Collaboration with operational teams and cross-functional HR, tax, and legal departments.
