The Overall Objective (Impact) of NEWZA is to increase access to green energy and water supply and sanitation for all by increasing the performance of 5 Zambian Water Utilities (Southern, Lukanga, Nkana, Eastern and Chambesi)

At least a Master Degree, or the academic equivalent (justified) in a field related to the assignment
At least 12 years of general experience working on international energy projects. - Expérience
- At least 12 years of general experience working on international energy projects, including green energy, renewable energy. If applied to water utilities is an advantage
Sound experience in designing, preparing and/ or implementing large-scale energy projects
Proven experience in conducting pre-feasibility studies for energy projects/ programmes at both urban & rural levels
Previous experience with energy pumps (water utilities). Additional knowledge about PV solar is an advantage
Proven experience in preparaing and/ or implementing sector plans and/ or programmes (including policies, strategies and road maps)
Proven experience in preparing / developing technical design project for FIDIC
Proven experience in preparing tender dossiers and detailed design specifications (PV solar & energy pumps)
Previous experience in conducting market assessment for energy investments
Previous experience with energy-water nexus projects and / or programmes is an advantage
Previous experience in Sub-saharan Africa. Experience in Zambia is an advantage
